Vintage Wheelbarrow !

This is my favorite thrift store find!

There are no faux paint treatments here. Just rain and sun age to make this great peeling paint! It was quite worn thru in the bottom. I used a hammer and nail to create some holes for drainage. I leave it parked in my patio and change the plantings out seasonally.

What is the Thrift Store Game ?

Going to the thrift store is a game! Will there be a treasure or just other peoples junk ? On a good day, I might find something interesting. How can it be repurposed ? Could it be a lamp ? Could it go out in the garden as garden art ? What if it was white ? Is it perfect and functional just as it is ? Score!
On the bad days, when I find nothing I want, I look for the ugliest thing there. That is usually worth a laugh! 'Cuz there is some weird stuff out there! Is it kitsch or is it kitty litter ? Who decides ? You do. Well, for your house anyways....
